Top Tier Sailing is an American Sailing Association (ASA) training school located in the British Virgin Islands. Whether you have years of sailing experience -- or none -- our comprehensive sailing courses offer a learning experience like no other.
The Caribbean is full of many amazing hidden anchorages, bays, and beaches that can only be accessed by boat. In the British Virgin Islands, catamarans are the sailboat of choice. With their shallow draft and comfortable, wide-open living areas, they are the perfect vessels for exploring the islands or relaxing in a secluded bay. Because the British Virgin Islands are all close together, it’s also easy to navigate and “island hop” without losing sight of land.

The British Virgin Islands (BVI) consist of more than 50 islands scattered between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic. It’s a stunning area that attracts adventurous souls, admirers of beauty, and those looking for rest and relaxation.
The main islands of the BVI include Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, and Jost Van Dyke. Road Town, the capital of the BVI, is located on Tortola. The most populated island, Tortola features popular sites like Smugglers Cove, Soper’s Hole, Cane Garden Bay, and Sage Mountain National Park.
Our base is located near Penn’s Landing Marina on the island of Tortola. The area features lovely beaches, gorgeous island views, and tasty local food options, including Red Rock Restaurant & Bar. It’s also the gateway to all the wonders of the BVI, as it’s near Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport.

Top Tier Sailing School is an American Sailing Association (ASA) training school located on the island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. Our team includes passionate, ASA-certified sailing experts with years of sailing experience all over the world and leagues of nautical miles under their belts.
